Laidlaw (1949) original descriptions on Diplommatina de morgani – “Shell ovate acuminate, whorls 6, increasing regularly to the penultimate, a little shouldered. The last whorl is of about the same diameter as the penultimate which has about 40 fine, close-set ribs. Mouth rather auriform, with an inconspicuous beak, peristome not much expanded. Colour white.
