Perlisia tweediei Tomlin, 1948
Morphology:
Tomlin (1948) original descriptions on Perlisia tweediei – “Shell cylindrical, pale reddish brown, smooth with rather broad, irregular lines of growth; whorls eight, narrowly umbilicate; the distal portion of the body-whorl disconnected as in Tortulosa tortuosa Gray, but to a rather more considerable extent; aperture irregularly circular; peristome with a slight basal depression from which a strong, prominent cord goes up round the umbilicus to connect with the penultimate whorl; suture rather slight; operculum with two concentric circular ridges.”
