Morphology:
Mousson (1865) original descriptions on Nanina samoensis – “T. minuta, vix perforata, tenuiuscula, depresso-turbinata, laevigata, vix striatula, nitidiuscula, corneo-rufa. Spira subconoidea, regularis; summo pallido, obtusiusculo; sutura profunda. Anfr. 5, lente accrescentes, rotundati; ultimus paulo descendens, subrotundatus, leviter angustatus, subtus planiusculus, in centro pallidior. Apertura vix subobliqua, transverse semilunata. Perist. rectum., acutum; marginibus distantibus, columellari ad insertionem breviter reflexo.”
