Cyclophorus perdix aquila (Sowerby, 1843)
“Il offre d'assez grands rapports avec le precedent ou le C. volvulus; mais il s'en distingue d'une manière bien marquée par sa contexture plus épaisse, par sa spire un peu moins élevée et moins acuminée, par son ombilic moins évasé, par son péristome plus épais, et enfin par sa coloration qui est aussi un peu différente.” (Eydoux & Souleyet, 1852)
“Diese hübsche Art ist aus Verseheu hier mit abgebildet worden, da Cuming dem Senckenberg'schen Museum eiu Exemplar mit der Fundortsbezeichuung Philippinen gegeben hatte. Sie stammt von Siugapore und fehlt auf den Philippinen.” (Kobelt, 1886)
“The specimen is rather high. It has only little coloration, one broad and one narrow spiral band below the periphery, and a few insignificant brown spots along the suture of the penultimate whorl. There is no trace of the pattern of zig-zag markings, so common in other members of the perdix tribe.” (Benthem-Jutting, 1949)
